Dora Flores Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Connor Mortuary - Laguna Hills Chapel & Mortuary on Feb. 17, 2026.
Dora Maria Molina Flores, 65, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous one-year battle with stomach cancer.

Born on January 26, 1961, Dora was a woman defined by her tireless work ethic and her profound faith. A deeply devoted Catholic, she lived her life as a servant of God, finding strength in prayer and grace in her daily actions. She moved to the United States in search of a better life, not just for herself, but for the legacy she intended to build. It was here that she met her husband, Vicente. Together, they "clicked like magic, " acting as trailblazers who empowered their siblings to join them and build lives of their own. She not only became a citizen, but helped others near her become one too.

Dora was the ultimate lover and giver in every sense of the word. Whether she was working or spending every weekend and holiday on a soccer field cheering for her daughters, Melissa and Kimberly, her life was one of joyful sacrifice. An act of love for her was creating crafted meals for her family. She made everything from scratch from her famous Christmas Eve tamales to her homemade carne asada con frijoles y arroz.

Even as she fought her battle with cancer, Dora's spirit remained anchored in her faith and her garden. A woman with the greenest thumb, she tended to her hundreds of plants and flowers until the very end, seeing the beauty of God's creation in every bloom.

Dora is survived by her devoted husband, Vicente Flores; her daughters, Melissa and Kimberly; and her siblings, Osmin, Santos, and Roberto. They are not only committed to sharing her essence, but to honoring her legacy. May she rest in peace in God's eternal garden.
