Dora Rendon 43, of Sweetwater passed away on October 20,2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Dora was known by so many different titles. Wife. Mom. Nana. Tia. Daughter. Sister. Friend. It did not matter what the people she loved did, she was there supporting. Cheering loud and smiling big, that is unless someone had something to say about her man then even to the end her hands stayed ready to defend. She loved fiercely, never backing down, never giving up. Time with her family was her favorite; whether it was in the hotel room at softball tournaments or at the lights in San Angelo, she just loved being surrounded by her people. She played her Jesus music loud and lived Philippians 2:3-4 by putting others before herself, even when most when want some attention on them, Dora knew that real living meant living for others. Her interests were the interests of her loved ones, from sports to dancing to TikTok- she made a point to be the hype girl. Everyone, even TikTok, was blessed to have Dora. And it is her love, not cancer, that will define how we remember her. How we remember that it was not cancer that brought her to her knees but the prayers of fearless mother over her children that will continue to be answered as she watches from Heaven. She knew this was not the end of her story and it is the hope in Jesus Christ that we cling to in this time of lamenting. So, we cry as we turn up our Jesus music remembering Dora on this side of Heaven knowing that someday "every tear will be wiped away."
