Dora Troia Obituary
Born November 18, 1933, in Sant'Eufemia a Maiella, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Franco and Rosa (DiCosmo) Zianni. After Dora's mother passed away, her father later married Anna (DelVecchio) Zianni. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Fernando 'Nonno' Troia; sister, Ada DiNatale; and newborn great-grandson, Rocco Herleman.
Dora married her beloved husband Fernando on June 1, 1952, at the Chiesa di San Bartolomeo Apostolo in Sant'Eufemia a Maiella. Later that year, Dora and Fernando immigrated to the United States, eventually settling in Monaca.
Dora will be deeply missed by her daughters Rose Mary (Dennis) Lapic and Norma (Jeff) McConnell; three grandchildren Natasha (Mark) Herleman, Joe (Alyssa) McConnell and Jeffrey McConnell; three great-grandchildren Elena McConnell, Dominic McConnell and Francesca Herleman. She is also survived by her sister Rosa Fattore.
