Dora Dean Caudle-Woodard, 90, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 in Hopkinsville, KY.
Dora, the daughter of the late Minor Caudle, Sr, and Jennie Earl Bush Caudle was born on November 23, 1934.
Dora was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church where she had participated in singing in the Ladies’ Chorus, Ladie’s Auxiliary, Transportation Committee, Circle #3 Association, and Sunday School Teacher. During her lifetime, she worked in the Domestic Services field. Her latest employment was Pennyrile Citizens Bank where she retired more than 25 years ago.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and father of her children, Lewis Woodard, Jr., her firstborn son, Willie Daniel, and her daughter, Sheila Woodard-Merriweather.
Survivors include her children, Marvin, Melvin (Gladys), Marshall, Michael, Mark, Malcolm Woodard, Charlotte Woodard, Shirley Solomon, and Sherry Hopson, 22 Grandchildren, a host of Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Great-Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
