Doretha Strickland Obituary
Doretha Michelle Strickland, 37, of Moultrie, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Caleb Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
She was born on August 24, 1988, in Thomasville, Georgia, to Toni Strickland Moss and Craig Moss. Ms. Strickland graduated from Colquitt County High School, worked as a hostess at Applebee’s and Freckles Skate Center, and was of the Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her grandad, Bill Strickland, and great-grandmother, Doshie Williams.
She is survived by her parents, Toni Strickland Moss and Craig Moss of Moultrie; grandmother, Brenda Henson of Moultrie; aunt, Misty Dillon and husband Wade of Moultrie; uncle, Mike Strickland of Moultrie; special cousins, Brittany Gibbs and husband Zach, Jami Villalobos and husband Adrian, and Blake Tucker; special friend, William Arnold; and numerous cousins and extended family members.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
