Doris M. Behm

Doris M. Behm, age 93, passed away following a short illness on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Patriot Place in Berlin. She was born on January 14, 1931 in Neenah, WI, the daughter of the late Erwin and Nora(Breaker) Zeinert.
On February 27, 1960, Doris married Elnor Behm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. They farmed on the family farm for a many years before selling it. Doris and Elnor then owned and operated Behm's Last Resort in West Blomfield and the Brew Haus in Weyauwega. Elnor preceded her in death on December 29, 2016.
Doris was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield and even though she was not physically able to attend church, her faith remained steadfast throughout her years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and flowers. Her family was very important to her and she loved chaperoning field trips with her children, attending the many activities they were involved in and spending time with her two granddaughters.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Julie Behm, Belin and Barbara(Jerry)Riggle, Waupaca; two granddaughters, Raleigh (Fiancé, Tyler Hoffman) and Erin Riggle; three brothers, Gordon Zeinert, Lee Zeinert and Herb Zeinert; two sisters, Lois Whitcomb and Bonnie Zeinert and a sister-in-law, Sally Zeinert, neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elnor, her son, Terry, three brothers, Marvin(June)Zeinert, Leonard(Phyllis)Zeinert and Raymond Zeinert; four sisters-in-law, Delores(Franklin)Albrecht, Glen Zeinert, Carol and Carrie Zeinert, and two brothers-in-law, Bob Whitcomb and Arlyn Behm
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, N6412 WI-49, Weyauwega. Pastor Brian Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Christ Lutheran Church.
