Doris Marie Bowman

Doris Bowman of Naples, Florida, passed away on March 27, 2026. She was born in Burlington, North Carolina, and made her home in Naples after relocating from Burlington in 1986.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Euna Mae Murray and Fred Daniel Holyfield.

She will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking, reading, sewing, shopping, and her deep love of animals-simple joys that brought warmth to those around her. Doris cherished her family deeply and found her greatest happiness in the time spent with them.

She is survived by her loving children: Sabrina McBride; Dean McBride and his wife, Maria McBride; Beth Day and her husband, Kenny Day; and Chris Bowman and his wife, Micheale Bowman.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Justin King, Ashley McBride, Hailey Lee, Ryan Day, Regan Day, Madison Bowman, Aiden Bowman, and Allison Bowman; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren: Jaylin King, Harper Lee, and Peyton Lee.

Doris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
