To the entire Burns family, but especially Bren and Diann that I knew in High School: I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. Bren, it as so good to see you at the visitation and I am so sorry I was unable to attend the funeral. It is so hard to lose a parent because you not only lose them....you lose a part of your past. I hope the memories that will linger and the love that will last will give you all peace.

Dear Hack, Bren, Mae and Diann,
I am so sorry for you that you have lost your dear wife and Mother. I certainly can understand how hard the last year or so has been for Doris and all her family and friends. I know you did all you could do to make her last days and months on earth as comfortable as possible. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I'm sorry I can't be there to tell you so in person.
Love, Paula Burns Noble
