Doris is survived by Troy G Carpenter - son and wife April Bailey of Stone Mountain, Laynie Walker Carpenter - great-granddaughter, William Matthew Carpenter - grandson, Daniel A Carpenter - grandson, Kevin Carpenter - grandson, Mari Katharine Martinez- Leal - granddaughter, Mason Carpenter - great-grandchild, William Thomas Galanti - grandchild, Reiyel E Martinez- Leal - great-grandchild, Remiel S Martinez- Leal - great-grandchild, Dottie Younker - sister-in-law, and Doris Younker - sister-in-law
Doris is preceded in death by William Carpenter Sr - husband, Thurman Younker - father, Daisy Younker - mother, Wanda Kay Galanti - daughter, William Milton Carpenter Jr - son, Thurman Leroy Younker "Buck" and Helen Younker- brother and sister- in- law, Glen Edwin "Pete" Younker- brother, and Freddie Eugene Younker- brother. Also, nieces and nephews.
Notable interests, activities, hobbies, or passions: Traveling, volunteering work for Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, stone mountain women's club
Memorable moments and achievements: Traveling to Jerusalem and Egypt were her two favorites.
A gathering of rememberance will be held at a later date.
