WILKES-BARRE — Doris Evans Closterman passed away peacefully on Nov. 25, 2024, at the age of 81 in her home in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on October 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Zelma M. Evans and Albert H. Evans. Doris graduated from Myers High School in 1961 and Wilkes College in 1965. She will be greatly missed by her husband, David M. Closterman, her children and their spouses, her grandchildren, and other dear relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Dec. 14, 2024, at 11 a.m.. at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. 19006. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
