Doris Ilene Creason

Doris Ilene Creason, 85, of Bosworth, Missouri, passed away Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025, at Truman Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Ilene was born August 14, 1939, in Bosworth, Missouri, daughter of Ralph Henry Jones. Ilene was raised by her father & her aunt and uncle Walter and Alice Johnson. On March 31, 1967, she married William S. "Bill" Creason at the First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Missouri. To this union, they were blessed with four children Cindy, Becky, Brenda and Billy.
At an early age, Ilene worked for Bryant's Restaurant in Carrollton before marrying Bill and becoming a homemaker. She drove a school bus for Bosworth R-V school for 29 years and owned and operated the Little Corner Cafe in Bosworth, Missouri from 1997 to 2015. She was known for her panfried chicken, hand breaded tenderloins and homemade pies.
She enjoyed working puzzle books, cooking for her family, taking care of her yard, watching her hummingbirds, visiting with friends and watching the game show network. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and her babies (her grandchildren and great grandchildren). She was a longtime sponsor of the 2C Quail Forever Chapter.
Survivors include three daughters Cynthia "Cindy" Snow and husband Chris, Springfield, Missouri; Becky Ann Phillips and Darin Evans, Wichita, Kansas; Brenda Sharp and husband Forest, Brunswick, Missouri; a son, William R. "Billy" Creason and wife Susan, Keytesville, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Richard, Leslie, Glen, Andrew, Chris, Dylan and Emma, 12 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson due 1/29/25.
Ilene was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, mother and father-in law, Ray and Ona Mae Creason and her brother Clifford Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Bittiker Funeral Home with Reverend Cheryl Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Carroll Memory Gardens Cemetery in Carrollton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Creason, Richard Potter, Andrew Everett, Glen Miller, Chris Miller and Dylan Proctor.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Snow, Forest Sharp, Darin Evans, Phillip Creason, Tom Nolting and Kenneth Bingam.
The family suggests memorials to H.E.L.P. Services, Carrollton Missouri or to the family's choice.
