Doris Drake Obituary
Private burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Doris was born on March 20, 1926 in Aurora, IL to Oliver and Margaret (Krug) Johnston. She was a graduate of East Aurora High School. Doris married Warren E. Drake on September 21, 1944 in Aurora. She dedicated her life to raising her daughters, and later volunteered at Copley Memorial Hospital for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna J. Bayer of Streator, Marilynn E. (Richard) Boeselager of Millington, and Sharon L. Hutchison of Ottawa; five grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, on January 27, 2011 and a brother Richard Johnston.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
