DONALD R. DRAKE, age 87. Beloved husband of the late Jo Ann; father of Don Drake (Maile), Laurie Sanford (Jim) and Danielle Drake (friend Matt Wreden); grandfather of Alieta Drake, Hulita Drake, Chad Sanford (Theresa) and Zach Sanford (Chelsea); great-grandfather of Austyn, Evelyn and Logan; son of the late Ethel (nee Sage) and William A. Drake; brother of the late Roscoe Drake and Rodger Drake; uncle and friend of many.
Don was U.S. Air Force Veteran. He worked for General Motors and retired as a Supervisor. In his retirement years he spent his time between South Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida playing golf.
Passed away February 9, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida. Private family graveside services will be held at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
