On February 2, 2026 Doris A. Eichmann passed peacefully surrounded by her two daughters, she was 87.

Doris (Charles) Eichmann was born in Philadelphia to Donald Charles and Edna (Adams) Charles.

During her early childhood, she was lovingly surrounded by her many aunts, uncles and cousins, with whom she shared and celebrated countless special moments. At the age of 13, Doris welcomed her beloved younger brother, Donnie.

Doris met the love of her life, Russell C. Eichmann, when she was just 13 years old. They later married and were blessed with two daughters: Donna (John Csaszar and Jeanne (Bruce Senni).

In 1967, Doris and Russell made their home in Burlington Township, New Jersey.

In the early 1970s, Doris worked for Welcome Wagon before beginning her most notable and cherished career in early childhood education. Alongside her partner, Marilyn Immendorf, she co-founded Dor-Lyn Preschool. Together, with their dedicated staff, they proudly served the community for more than 25 years, touching the lived of countless children and families.

Doris found immense joy in her family, especially her seven grandsons: Thomas, Kevin and Russell Stow; John (Miranda) and Alexander Csaszar; and Joseph (Noelle) and Anthony (Casey) Senni. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Kayla, Riely, Russell and Logan Stown, Cora and Chase Csaszar and Colton, Giovanni, Niccolo and Teagan Senni.

She is also survived by her nephews, William and Joseph Charles, and shared a particularly close an cherished bond with her sister-in-law, Diane Benhayon and Diane's husband, Ronald.

Doris will be most remembered for her warmth, compassion, and her unshakable faith in Christ. Her love, kindness, and devotion to family and community will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Doris's life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1308 Mt. Holly Road, Burlington at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Holy Trinity Social Ministries.
