Robert Kiffer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Page Funeral Home - Burlington on Feb. 12, 2026.
Robert H. Kiffer of Burlington Township passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital in Camden at the age of 81. Born in Burlington, Robert remained a lifelong resident. He was a talented musician who followed his passion by singing and playing guitar in a country band. He was also an expert yodeler. Through his life he also worked at several other various jobs to help pay the bills but he never strayed from his music career. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams. He also had a great sense of humor and considered himself a knowledgeable wine connoisseur and a consummate chef, an opinion not quite shared by all. He will most be remembered by family and friends as a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Robert was predeceased by his parents; Earl and Helen (nee Parker) Kiffer, Sr., his brother Charles F. Kiffer his grandson Joshua McLaughlin and his nephew Charles F. Kiffer, Jr. He is survived by his children; daughters Janna Kiffer and Danielle McLaughlin and son Raymond Beerhalter, his grandchildren; Elias Homza, Jane Homza, Robert McLaughlin, Jacob McLaughlin, Matthew Beerhalter and Hannah (nee Kiffer) Runza, his siblings; Earl Kiffer, Jr. and Lorene (nee Kiffer) Walbridge, his former spouse Janice Kuykendall and many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Robert's wishes his funeral services will be held privately.

Yesterday

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I remember him well from the days we played baseball in Burlington's Babe Ruth league. I gave him a newspaper photo where he was named the "most valuable player " of this team .
You would have thought I had given him a valuable piece of art as his response was with great appreciation.
Serenade the angels, Bob!
Your old classmate,
Bud Shelton
