My Prayers and Condolences are Extended to the Gaines Family! I met Doris at the age of four (4) since I attended the kindergarten of her dear mother, Mrs. Mattie Townsend, back in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Doris has always been the same Doris throughout her entire life. She had a love and passion for gospel music and I am sure that she inherited that passion from her dear mother who was a very accomplished pianist and played for decades for Antioch Baptist Church and other churches in the Hattiesburg Area. Doris will certainly be missed by the EURO (now EUROHA) organization since she was a devoted member who worked faithfully for decades with the organization. I truly enjoyed working with Doris on the Talent Show Committee during EURO 1993 and 1996.

I was a class behind Doris & Grady @ L.J. Rowan. I actually met Doris because Grady was a friend from our side of town. They were a terrific in love couple from day one. Blessings and may God's Peace wrap you All in His loving arms! Your friend, Jenna Carol
