Doris Galloway

Doris Galloway was born June 24, 1926 in Swedeburg, Nebraska and passed away May 2, 2025.Doris loved life and was a beloved wife to T.Z., mother of three, Linda Matthaei and husband, Rudy, Mark Galloway and wife, Sherry and Jan Galloway and husband, Ron. So proudly loved 9 grandchildren, Shawn Galloway and Mandy Geltemeyer; Anna Speier and Eric, Esther, Nathan and Stefan Matthaei, J.A. and Brad Vacca; along with 11 great grandchildren and so many dear friends.
Doris served at Barksdale AFB for the 2nd Bomb Wing Commanders Office retiring with honors. Following her retirement she dedicated many years to her love of St. Stephen Lutheran Church before making her final move from The Oaks to Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Doris Galloway's devotion to her God, her family and her fellow man will be her legacy.
A celebration of life for Doris will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, T.Z. in Centuries Memorial Park.
