Next stop was Butte, Montana until her meandering ways found her in
Douglas, Wyoming where she would be with her daughters Cheryl and Laurie and their children. Doris lived in an assisted living center where she enjoyed helping out in the kitchen and visiting fellow residents. She lived here for 20 plus years until her health began to decline and was moved to Douglas Care Center until her passing.
Doris's journey was not an easy one when alcohol consumed her life for many years but with a tremendous faith she persevered and overcame the addiction making a good life in Douglas.
