Doris Jensen Obituary
Doris Ann Jensen, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024 at Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home.
She was born to the late Clem and Sedona (Hoffmann) Honz on October 15, 1935 in Panama, Iowa. Doris worked at Bergan Mercy Hospital as a CNA for many years. She also volunteered at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Honz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Rita Honz, Edward and Dorothy Honz, and Dennis and Peggy Honz; sisters, Rita Schnekeloth and Sr. Agnes Honz; and sister-in-law, Betty Honz;
Doris is survived by son, Martin (Susan) Jensen; brother, Wayne Honz; and granddaughter, Cameron Jensen (Joe Thomas).
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, January 26, 2024 with Rosary Recitation to begin at 7:00 PM.
Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Interment is in Hurley Evergreen Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
