Ann retired from Hartford Insurance after a long and illustrious tenure as a Marketing Representative. Never content to rest on her laurels, she embarked on a new chapter as the Office Manager at Lee Inspection & Consulting. She took immense pride in her nephew Jeff Lee’s accomplishments and the global success of the company he built, alongside his children Lindsay and Ben.  Being a part of this endeavor brought her profound joy and fulfillment.

Simultaneously, Ann pursued her entrepreneurial spirit, establishing her own independent insurance agency. Her weekends were often spent in the pursuit of hidden treasures, scouring estate sales with her daughter for unique antiques and artifacts.

Cooking was another one of Ann's great talents, and her culinary creations brought joy to family and friends alike. However, her most cherished moments were spent with her beloved grandson, Zackary. They shared countless evenings engaged in card games, embarking on adventures, and engaging in thoughtful conversations on a wide array of topics. Their bond was a source of immeasurable happiness and inspiration.

Despite the challenges of failing health, Ann's determination to witness her grandson graduate from high school never wavered. With immense pride, she attended his ceremony, where she watched him deliver his Salutatorian speech.

Doris Ann Johnson, a proud graduate of Castor High School, accumulated numerous esteemed insurance certifications and awards over the course of her illustrious career. She shared 62 years of a loving and devoted marriage with her husband, Joe Johnson.
