Dianne was born on September 20, 1961, in Arcadia, LA to Edward and Evelyn Mills. She entered into rest on May 3, 2024, in Shreveport, LA with her loving family by her side. Dianne was an exceptional woman, wife, mom, and Gram. Her family would call her hard-headed, determined, one tough lady, and the kindest soul you could meet. She loved big and would give anyone anything without ever expecting anything in return. She was married to the love of her life, Jerry, and had two beautiful daughters. Dianne was devoted to reading her study Bible and was a woman who never lost her faith. Dianne loved being outside, working in her yard, and absolutely loved the ocean. Dianne earned her Bachelor Degree in Education from Louisiana Tech. She taught for many years and served in administration at Castor High School from where she retired. Dianne loved teaching and adored every single one of her students. She was well loved by her school family and the numerous children she encountered. Dianne’s greatest love was for her family. She was devoted to them, nurtured them, and made sure no one ever left her house hungry. Gram is going to be deeply missed by everyone.
Dianne is preceded by her father, Edward Mills.
