Funeral service honoring Mr. Curtis Bowman will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia with Bro. Gerald Nelson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Driskill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m.
Curtis was born on July 24, 1947, in Delhi, Louisiana to Oscar and Margie Bowman. He entered into rest on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana with his loving family by his side. Curtis worked and retired from the Saint-Gobain Glass Plant in Simsboro. When he was not working, Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, and being with his family.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Margie Bowman. Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Phillip Bowman and wife Melisa and Jeffery Bowman and wife Carrie, grandson Sterling Bowman, sisters Sharon Lentini and Sandy Bowman, and by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Honoring Curtis as pallbearers will be Sterling Bowman, Randy Bowman, William Young, Charlie Smith, Justin Smith, and David Wriborg. Honorary pallbearers will be his friends John Fields and Floyd Gilbert.
