Ella M. Bowman

Ella M. Bowman went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2026. he was born on October 30, 1930, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1952. She worked for Crandall Realty as Real Estate Associate for two years. After passing Real Estate Broker examination she opened her own Real Estate Company, Crest Realty.
Ella was a Girl Scout Leader and active in Parent Teacher Association. She served in Southwest Realtors Association as a secretary.
In 1980 she moved to Dallas, Texas where she married Charles Bowman. She became a Mortgage Loan Officer and worked for Greater Dallas Mortgage, and Castle Mortgage. After passing the Broker examination she opened Royal Mortgage. In 2008 she retired. Coming out of retirement two years later she was employed as a legal assistant at Burns & Iwuji Law firm. Six years later she retired once more. She was active in Lakewood Baptist Church for several years and served on the Board o Directors, as well as teaching the ladies Sunday school class.
Ella was the mother of five children, Sherri, Danny Ralph, Tedra, Annette, and Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted McCasling, Sr., and Thelma McCasling; brother, Ted McCasling, Jr.; sons, Danny Ralph and Scott; daughters, Sherri and Tedra. She is survived by husband, Charles Bowan; daughter Annette McClure; niece, Kasa Watson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Mistie Jenifer Burns, and Amber Dawn Burns; grandson, Michael Adam McClure; nephews, Kevin and Kyle McCasling, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and stepchildren, Tamara Kavanagh, Billie Bowman, Michelle Clarke, Toni Bowman, and Mitzi Waters.
Ella had a full and adventurous life and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed.
