Doris Mae Kronberger
age 87, of Park Falls, died peacefully on Thursday May 15, 2025, with her family by her side.
She was born on May 8, 1938, in Park Falls, the daughter of Jesse "Jack" and Stella (Padour) Morrison. At the age of 16 she was hired by Nelson's Hardware Store as their bookkeeper. Her skills in bookkeeping continued as she managed the books for her husband's RMK Logging company. On September 28, 1957, she married her best friend Roland Kronberger in Park Falls. Doris was a hardworking, selfless, business savvy woman who was able to manage her books, raise her children, care for her husband, support her community, and start her own real estate company, Kronberger Realty which she operated for many years. She was kind-hearted, generous, family-oriented, and loved to travel with Rollie. She enjoyed cooking for her children and grandchildren, helping at church, and being a member of The Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the First Congregational Women's Christian Fellowship. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was kind to everyone she met and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roland Kronberger of Park Falls, their two children, Daniel (Dina Bukachek) Kronberger of Park Falls, Barbara (Thomas) Lucas of Avon, OH, (6) grandchildren; Forest (Emily Pratt) Dane, Dakota Kronberger, Shane Kronberger, Riley Kronberger, Sarah (Joe) Gibson, Brian Lucas, great-grandchild Sylvie Jo Dane, and by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Morrison.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Park Falls. Rev. Emerson Coy will officiate.
A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30am until the hour of the service on Tuesday May 27, 2025.
Interment will be at Nola Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Park Manor Nursing Home for their support and care.
