Mark, Marly, MJ, Maggie and Kayden: my heart hurts for you. Eileen was a special lady and I will miss her.
We first got to know the Kronbergers when our kids were in middle school. Sitting in the bleachers, cheering, watching our husbands in those puffy blue coach´s jackets encouraging the kids.
When I thought about becoming an EMT, Ei said to me "yes, you should! Here´s how I can help you do that". Her manner with patients was so calming and reassuring. Sometimes we sang to our patients, Eileen had a lovely voice. She was such a good roll model. I can truly say I am a better EMT because of her and our community benefitted greatly.
Eileen, I will miss you so much (and your `crockpot hamburger stew´!)
With love, Marjy

When someone like Eileen passes it affects many. First and foremost, her husband Mark and "kids as adults". We all have words for me they don´t seem adequate. Knowing this I am very sorry. I can honestly say you are/were her world.
As a former member of CPCAS I have personally seen all she was for the other EMT´s through the years. When I found out my thought was "Our Eileen"? For those of us who were younger we referred to her as "Mama Bear". She took us under her wing, guided us, corrected us, calmed us, etc.... She walked the walk and talked the talk.
Treasure the memories, cherish the contact, remember the smile. Gone but never forgotten, rest in peace, until we see each other again. You will be missed!
