Doris Louise Snyder Lambert, age 85 a resident of New Tazewell, Tennessee passed away March 23, 2022 at her home.
She was born July 25, 1936 in River Rouge, Michigan to the late Frank and Susan Pearl Snyder.
Doris was a quintessential homemaker; cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and anything else needed to make a house a home. She was very creative and loved to craft. She enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel music. Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Erby Lambert Sr., Children Margaret Alice Hughes, Mary Beth Brooks, son Erby Lambert Jr. Parents Frank and Susan Pearl Snyder, Sisters Betty LeBlanc and Alice Ostrander, grandchildren Jiletta Mae Hughes and Beth Ann Lockhart.
She is survived by her Children Mark (Pam) Hughes, Marty Warner, Mitchell (Kori) Warner, Matthew (Gina) Warner and Haley Lambert, Grandchildren Bobbi Kiser, Mary Jo Shelson, Jonathan Daniels, Chris Daniels, Mary Ann Daniels, Nick Hughes, Corey Hughes, Julie Warner, Felicity Warner, Patrick Walters, Callie Smith, Heather Patterson, Jessica Warner, Gabriel Warner, Ethan Warner, Curtis Warner, Joshua Lambert, Brittney Copenhaver, Cassandra Earls, Seth Lambert and Makayla Lambert, Brothers and Sisters Florence (Ken) Erving, Frank (Chris) Snyder, Shirley (Dennis) Kilpatrick, Walter (Carol) Snyder, Emily (Terry) Himes, Darlene (Sal) DiMeglio, 25 Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Green Hills Funeral Home, and again from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Uhl Russell officiating. Music will be provided by George Cotton.
Graveside services will immediately follow in the Lambert Cemetery in Tazewell, Tennessee.
