Doris Crutti Marino

Doris Crutti Marino was born in Plaquemine, LA on November 19, 1924, and passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at the age of 101. She was a homemaker. Doris always maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, love of family and friends and expressed gratitude to God for a long life.

Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Thursday, January 8th, from 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Arun John. Burial will follow in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge.

Doris is survived by her four children, Joseph Marino III and wife Maureen, Linda Allain and husband Michael, Vivian Gonzales and husband Allen, Carl Marino and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Shannon Caruso, Brandy Allain, Kellie Bridgers, Konan Marino, Brandt Marino, Erin Marino, Brittany Dumas, Trent Gambill; great-grandchildren, Jessica Ann Turner, Kaleigh Comeaux, Jordan Caruso, Shelby Blier, Alex Lacy, Jake Allain, Bree Ransome, Brooke Ransome, Blair Ransome, Stephanie Bridgers, Lillie, Ian, Aviana and Tanner Marino, Marlow Grist, Bennett, Everrett and Nora Dumas, Bentley and Raylan Gambill; great-great-grandchildren, Michael Shepherd Turner, Hazel Rae Lacy, Rustyn and Renleigh Comeaux, Lynn Caruso.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marino II; parents, Joseph and Catherine Perkins Crutti; in-laws, Joseph and Vivian Marino; granddaughter, Alicia Ann Allain, brother, Buddy Crutti, three sisters, Bernice Morris, Louise Cupid, Catherine Smith Wagner; brother, Robert Smith Jr.

Doris was a long-time parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly and member of the Altar Society.

The family would like to thank West Towne and staff, Harvest Manor and staff, caregivers, Barbara Odgen, Carolyn Blanchard, Ashley and Brandy Allain.
