Doris L. Moynihan

Doris L. Moynihan passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on February 3, 1937, to the late William and Margaret Wagner (Connelly), Doris lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering faith.

A lifelong resident of Bronx, NY, Doris built a meaningful career as a library clerk at Manhattan College, where she was known for her warmth and dedication. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick J.;her son, Patrick C.;her son-in-law, Michael; and her brothers, William and Richard.

She is survived by her daughter, Doreen, and her son, Kevin. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Jaclyn, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Dylan, and Mikaela.

Doris will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the deep care she showed to everyone around her. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on in the family she so deeply treasured.

All services to celebrate Doris' life will take place on the same day.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial to honor Doris' life will take place at 11:30, on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1 Doherty Drive, Lake Carmel, NY 10512.

Following Mass, Doris will be escorted to her final resting place alongside her beloved husband, Patrick (2018) at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
