She is survived by her 5 children, Vicki Nix of McKinney, Texas, Chris Nix of McCook, Nebraska, Donald Nix of Whitesboro, Texas, Pamela Sawisky of Nederland, Texas, Tammy Alford of Wichita Kansas, 16 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grand Children, and her sister Jo Nell Bennet of Tuttle, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billy Gene Nix, their son Perry Joe Nix, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
