Doris Aliemerle Odom

ODOM- Mrs. Doris A. Ryals Odom of Jay, Florida passed away early Tuesday morning April 18, 2023 in a Pensacola, Florida Hospice facility after a brief ilness. She grew up in the Oak Grove community near Castleberry, Alabama and was born into a family of 12 children. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Doris devoted much of her time to Ebenezer Church where she got saved and attended for many years. Our precious mom and nanny was married to the love of her life Douglas for 63 years. She often enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and church family. She enjoyed going shopping, listening to gospel music, and going on trips with her family.

Great Grandchildren- Walker Odom, Jason Caroll, Alexis Carroll, Landon Carroll, Aubrey Steadham, Lawson Odom

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon April 23, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Christian Church Jay, Florida.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday afternoon April 23, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Christian Church with Rev. Frederick Barrow and Bro. Bobby Carnley officiating. Interment will follow in Cora Cemetery Jay, Florida with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama Directing.
