Doris Grace Okerson

Doris Grace Okerson (née Itro) 90, of Philadelphia passed away suddenly on February 25, 2026. Born and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey to the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Itro (née Sepashi).

She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth James and a devoted mother to Kenneth Christopher Okerson (Pennylynn) and Pamela Pekala (John). Doris was a loving and proud grandmom to Ashley, Jonathan, Alexis, Dalton, Madison, Joseph, Philip, Olivia, and Payton, and a cherished great grandmom to Dominic, Oaklynn, and Colton. Doris is survived by her twin sister, Diana Russ. She was the dear sister of the late Donna Pirecki and Vincent Itro. She will also be sadly missed by her many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, March 2, 2026, 9:45 AM St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
