Doris Nadine "Boo Boo" Pierce

Doris "Boo Boo" Nadine Pierce 96, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 in a St Joseph, MO health care center. She was born July 5, 1926 in Union, Nebraska, daughter of the late Blanche & Robert Thorne. She was a Homemaker who enjoyed traveling, gambling, singing, and dancing, and she most especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Don Pierce, her parents, an aunt and uncle who raised her, Fay & John Hendrix, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons, Terry K Pierce St. Joseph, MO, and Andy (Mariam) Pierce, Nederland, CO, Randy Pierce, Kansas City, MO, and Donnie (Kit) Pierce Grain Valley, MO, grandchildren: Taylor Pierce, Darcee (Jeremy) Blanchard, Ryan (Leslie) Pierce, and Lindsey (Cody) Bellah, Cameron Pierce, and Cassie Pierce, great grandchildren; Kazdyn Pierce-Blanchard, Krimzyn Blanchard, Jordyn, Kylee, Avery Booklynn, and Kennadie, and a sister, Gladys Weston, Omaha, NE. The family will have a private memorial service at Rupp Funeral Home at a later date.
