DORIS E. RIDDICK
Doris E. Riddick, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was 95. Doris was born in Canton, Ohio on September 4, 1928, to her late parents, William (Cy) and Bessie (Little) Latimer.
Preceding Doris in death was her first husband, Donald Rogers; second husband, Van Riddick; sister, Marilyn Hawk; and brother, Jack Latimer. She is survived by daughters, Jean (Dean) Hansen of Arizona, Barbara (Cruz) Estrella of California; sons, Robert Rogers of Florida, Ronald (Nancy) Riddick of Texas; numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Marshall of Massillon; and many nieces and nephews.
Doris was steadfast in her daily journey of faith and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and the Canton Women's Christian Club, of which she served as Past President. She enjoyed traveling and making memories all over the world. She attended and graduated from Timken Vocational High School and was a lifetime member of Timken Alumni. Doris was passionately devoted to her family and led by example.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to Noon, with the service immediately following. Pastor Dana Gammill will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
