Doris Risner Obituary
Doris was born on February 18, 1938, in Sallisaw, OK, to Joseph Elijah Cartwright and Bonnie Holt (Riggs). She graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1957. Her pride and joy was born in 1966. She was a loving mother and granny.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Ann Watie; sister, Wanda Faye O'neal; grandchildren, Cody Grant, Courtney Breckenridge, Brooke Young, Vesta Smith, and Bobby Smith; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Lennox, Noah, Brody, Haven, Asher, and River.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bonnie Cartwright; husband, Bobby Risner, siblings, Virgie Gosnell, Virgil (Mutt) Cartwright, Betty Watts, Ruth, Spencer, Wilburn (Sonny) Cartwright, Evelyn (Midget) Williams, and Claudie Cartwright.
Visitation for Doris will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 2-8 PM in the chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services in Sallisaw, OK.
Funeral Services for Doris will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 2 PM, at the Sallisaw City Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Casey Breckenridge, Cameron Young, and Gary Fletcher.
Honorary bearers are Cody Grant, Bobby Smith, and Brayden Norwood.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services
