Doris was born August 14, 1923, in Sherwood Twp. a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Knox) Thrams.
Doris had made her home in Sherwood all her life graduating from Sherwood high School as salutatorian of her class. She was a homemaker and had driven school bus for Union City School district for several years. Doris was a member of the Sherwood Methodist Church.
On March 14, 1942, she married Berlyn B. Robbins in Coldwater, he preceded her in death November 24, 2018.
Doris is survived by one daughter Connie (John) Haven of Grayling, one son Lynn (Mary) Robbins of Lexington, KY, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter Cheryl DeWeerd and six siblings.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Doris Robbins will then take place at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Daryl Dexter officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Cemetery. If desired Memorials may be made in memory of Doris to the American Cancer Society.
