Doris is now out of pain and lovingly reunited with Hank where God has welcomed her with open arms. May you all be healed by wonderful memories of her.

Doris was sent by God to remind me how to behave, especially as a priest. I welcomed her reprimand because it was usually followed by "What would your mother think?" I'm grateful to Frank who made me feel like part of the family for years. Usually at CYO events our parents would sit together to catch up on what was happening with our adventures in the seminary and beyond. This past weekend my mother asked how Frank's mother was doing and told me that she was praying for her and the family. Eternal rest grant unto Doris O Lord!

I can picture the joy when Doris and Henry were reunited in the presence of God. My heart breaks for her children and their children, though, as they begin a new chapter without her loving presence, and I wish peace for you all. She was a remarkable person, and she will be missed.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Your eternal divine light shine upon her and in her. May Doris be united with You, O Lord, resting in the peace that only You can give. Amen.
