Doris Sievers (nee Malliot), 79, passed away on February 21st, 2025, while residing in Mountain View, Wyoming. She was born on April 4, 1945, in Powell, Wyoming.
Doris was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Debi Schuttemeier, Carla Sievers-Ronning, and Joan Zier. She cherished her family and found immense joy in spending time with her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary, and brother Frank. She was predeceased by her parents, her first granddaughter, Brandi Schuttemeier, her great-grandson Leighton Schuttemeier, her parents John and Mary, and sister Francis.
Doris graduated from Powell High School in 1963 and graduated from Sheridan College in 1989 with her RN degree, fulfilling her desires to be helpful to others in an impactful way.
Doris had a passion for the outdoors and found peace in nature. She loved watching birds and searching for Moose. Her favorite activities were fishing and going for scenic drives, always taking advantage of an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Wyoming’s landscapes. She also treasured time spent with family and friends, always embracing gatherings filled with love and laughter. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore new places through travel, creating lasting memories along the way.
Her family will honor her life with a celebration gathering at a later date. Doris’ love for nature and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
