Doris Silverstein - a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Easter Sunday April 20th 2025, she was 89. Doris was an avid fan of both The NY Mets and The NJ Lottery. Doris was pre-deceased by her siblings; Joseph Silverstein (Ruth), Bernard Silverstein (Madeline), Catherine Ceimo, Anna Rodrigo (Louie) & William Silverstein and her sister in law Rose Silverstein; and surviving Doris are her brother Robert Silverstein, a multitude of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and many other cherished family members and dear friends. A visitation for Doris will be held on Thursday April 24th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. Doris will then be laid to rest on Friday April 25th; everyone is welcome to gather at the funeral home that morning starting at 10AM. A brief prayer service will celebrated before departing to the cemetery at 11AM for a noon burial ceremony. In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Doris' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which can be done directly by clicking the "Memorial Donation" tab below this obituary.
