Doris Slaton Obituary
Mrs. Doris Slaton, age 93, of the Aroney Community, died Friday, September 5, 2025, at her residence.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at two o’clock pm at the Liberty Cemetery in Aroney with Bro. Darrell Huff officiating. There will not be a formal visitation.
Mrs. Slaton was born in Aroney, Alabama on January 30, 1932, to Ernest and Noma Leeth Naler. She was a retired lunchroom worker at the Whitesboro School.
Mrs. Slaton is survived by her Daughter: Connie & David Cosper of Alpine, Alabama, Sister: Sana Cobb of Boaz, Sisters-in-Law: Barbara Naler of Boaz and Louise Slaton of Birmingham, Special Nephew: Lee & Annette Cobb of Boaz and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents: Ernest & Noma Naler, Husband: Guy Slaton, Son: Micka Slaton, and Brother: Ralph Naler
The family will accept flowers or suggests donations to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, County Road 4, Boaz, AL 35957.
