Doris was born on January 26, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Doris was a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the time of her passing. She graduated from Harlan High School. She was married to Robert. Funeral service will take place on Saturday March 18 2017 at 12:00pm at Woodburn Missionary Church 5108 Bull Rapids Road Woodburn Indiana 46797 with visitation two hours prior from 10:00am-12:00pm. Burial will take place at Scipio Cemetery.Officiating the funeral services will be Rev. David Koch.

We are so sorry to hear about Doris passing away. I dearly loved working when she was working. She was always so kind & helpful. We loved camping with her & Bud at River City campground at S. Whitley one time.

Doris was a special lady. We worked together for many years, and she was a joy to work with. We had many things in common--most of all, our love for the Lord and His music. On a quiet evening (whenever there was one!) we spent time talking about our families, our love for God and music. We even sang together once in a while! Loved to sing harmony with her!
She was a godly woman and a living witness for her Lord. She didn't just talk about it, she lived it! I have so many beautiful memories of our times together. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Sandy and Julie, and your families. May He bring you comfort and peace in the knowledge that she is with her Lord, and while you will miss her here on earth, you will spend eternity with her in heaven!

My deepest sympathy to the family during this time of sorrow. I remember the many times working with Doris at Parkview. Will always remember the great times that the
"group" had in our outings and bike rides.
