Doris Tyner Obituary
Born in Moore County, on August 18, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Pauline Cockman.
Doris was a graduate of Union Pines High School. She loved her family very much as well as traveling and visiting the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Shirley White, Bud Doby, and Joyce McLaughlin.
Doris is survived by her significant other of almost 44 years: Johnny Goins of Carthage; children: Cecil Kim Tyner of Greensboro, Jaime Tyner Vieregge of Carthage, Johnny Bud Goins of Barbersville, KY; step-children: Jonathan Goins, Sandy Goins and April Goins; siblings: Russell Doby of Sanford, Carol Pennington of Carthage and Warren Junior Cockman of Carthage; grandchildren: Kelly Brooke Vieregge, Megan Spring Vieregge and Tersea Joe Tyner.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 5 2024 from 6-8 pm at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage and on Sunday at 928 J Dowdy Road in Carthage at the home of Junior and Karen Cockman.
