November 12, 1941 - June 8, 2025

Doris Marie Wildermuth, 83, of Port Byron, IL, died on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Port Byron First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron. Burial will be in the Rapids City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Port Byron First United Methodist Church.

Doris was born November 12, 1941 in Fairbury, Illinois, the daughter of

B. Burnell and Wilma (Edwards) Perkins. She married Jerry Wildermuth on August 12, 1962. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1989.

Doris is survived by her children, Julie Wildermuth of Rapids City, IL, Shane Wildermuth of Port Byron, IL, Shawn (Karen) Wildermuth of Palm Harbor, FL, Nikki (Joel) Stuart of Port Byron, IL, Rebecca Wildermuth of Port Byron, IL; brother, Larry Perkins, Port Byron, IL; brother-in-law Doug DeWitt of Rapids City, IL; sister-in-law, Donna Irwin of Silvis, IL; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Ju-Ju Marie.
