Doris Wilhite Obituary
The funeral will take place on January 17th at 11:00am at the historic Ebenezer Third Baptist Church on 1010 East 10th Street in Austin, Texas 78702.
Mrs. Wilhite was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, and leaves behind her son, a host of friends, church members, former students, Sorors, her beloved Ebenezer Handbell Choir, and the lives of so many that she touched along the way.

Doris Wilhite's passing is a great loss to so many. She had a great heart and passion for feeding hungry people and for years was part of the Austin CROP Hunger Walk organizing team and an important voice on our team. We give thanks to God for Doris' life and witness.

Deone, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Reading your mom's obituary was a wonderful experience - what a great role model you must have had throughout the years. Doris will certainly be missed. In every role that she was assigned or volunteered to undertake, Doris was a true leader. Her sweet smile and laugh were contagious. We have truly loss a great role model!
