Dorothea A. (O'Neill) Tedaldi formerly of Crestwood, New York and Westerly, Rhode Island died July 14, 2022 in Franklin, MA. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert J. Tedaldi, in 2003.
Mother of Ellen Tedaldi ( Lonnie Walden), Richard Tedaldi ( Ronda Bennett), Barbara Lepley (Paul), Michael Tedaldi ( Marie), Eileen Meraklis, Carole Fitzpatrick ( Brad Huntington) and Mark O'Neill Tedaldi, she was the grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 7.
She was predeceased by her parents Irene and Charles O'Neill; her brother Kenneth O'Neill; and her two sons-in-law Jeffrey O' Keefe and John Fitzpatrick.
A deeply religious woman, Dot was more than the matriarch, she was the heart and soul of her family. She was devoted to her family and always made her children's friends feel welcome.She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Everyone she came in contact with was unique and special in her eyes.
A compassionate and genuine person, Dot also had the determination and fortitude that helped many others. Her friendly and cheerful demeanor made deep and lasting friendships across different generations. She was a trusted friend who impacted countless people's lives.
Dot was active in the "Crestwood Community" and a staple at Annunciation School and Church for over 30 years. When she and her husband Bob relocated to the Westerly area they continued to be active in the church and community.
There will be a private internment service on Thursday July 21 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in their involvement the church and communit,.Hawthorne, NY.
The Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. is honored to assist the Tedaldi family.
Contributions in her name may be made to the Crestwood Community Fund https://crestwoodcommunityfund.org/ and the efforts to rebuild Schultz Field.
