Born on October 19, 1931, in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jim and Maxie Cook Puckett. Her husband of sixty-six years, Will Press "Pud" Conley, sons, Bill Conley, Elbie Conley, daughter, Janet Smith, sisters, Margaret Workman, Mignon Puckett, Genevieve Puckett, Dorothy Puckett, a set of twins, brothers, George Puckett, Harry Puckett, Price Puckett, Ronald Puckett, Clarence Lenard Puckett, Earl Puckett all preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Salyersville International Pentecostal Church of Christ in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Wilma Sizemore and husband Henry Clay of Royalton, Kentucky, Brenda Raines of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Ricky Conley and wife Barb of Noblesville, Indiana, Johnny Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Shirley Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, Francis Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cathy Lane of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, James Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Phillip Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, John Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Lester Puckett of Salyersville, Kentucky, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, twenty-one great great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Dorothy Puckett Conley will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Lloyd "June Bug" Ward will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Earl May Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Friday, after 6:00 PM, and anytime prior to the funeral service.
