JoAnn Patrick Gullett

JoAnn Gullett, age 79, of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Prestonsburg Health Care Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Born on August 10, 1946, in Salyersville, JoAnn was the daughter of the late Joseph Asbury and Eliza Patrick. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; four brothers, Jackie, Garry, Leon, and Anthony; her sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Patrick; and her brother-in-law, Harold Crace.
A devoted member of Salyersville First Baptist Church, JoAnn lived her faith through quiet kindness and steady service. She was the pillar of her family-never happier than when the house was full and she could spend time with those she loved. For more than 30 years, JoAnn served as an administrative assistant with Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, retiring in 2008. Her colleagues and the many people she helped remember her for her diligence, warmth, and unfailing courtesy. Faith, family, and service marked JoAnn's life. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and steady presence will remain with all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Gullett; two sons, Alan (Gretchen) Gullett of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and James "Jimmy" (Elizabeth) Gullett of Salyersville, Kentucky; one sister, Janet Crace of Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren, Lindon (Karrington) Gullett, Embry Gullett, William Gullett, Connor Gullett, and Addison Gullett; and great-grandchildren, Kollier Gullett and Kollyn Gullett. She is also remembered by a host of extended family, friends, and her church family, who love and will deeply miss her.
Funeral services for JoAnn Gullett will be conducted Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM from Salyersville First Baptist Church on Dixie Avenue in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Ben Martin will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, October 28, 2025, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services. Contributions can be made to the Salyersville First Baptist Church or the charity of your choosing in honor of JoAnn Gullett.
