Dorothy C. Corso, age 100, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ.

She was born on March 3, 1925 in New York, NY.

Her beloved husband, Charles James Corso passed away in 1996 after 50 years of marriage.

She was the daughter of the late Camillo Licata and Maria Tedesco Licata.

Dorothy worked as a Procurement Administrator and Department of Education Administrator until her retirement.

Dorothy had many loves in life including her love of her family and pets. She adored spending time with her family, doing artwork, and reading. She authored two novels. As an animal lover, always took the time to care for stray animals.

She was a devoted Catholic. Her mantra was to live each day with Jesus. He is your protector and will always be your salvation.

Survivors include three children; Christopher Corso, Richard Corso and Diane Zizzamia. One granddaughter; Michelle Zizzamia. One great-grandson; Luca Labron. Daughter-in-law Viviana Corso.

Graveside service will take place on Thursday June 26, 2025 at 11am at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
