Comforter Funeral Home - Port Saint JoeDorothy Jean “Dot” Creamer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the age of 87.
Born on December 9, 1937 to James Wesley Sealey Sr. and Willie Verona Sealey. She grew up in White City Florida and was proud to call Port St Joe her home for the rest of her life. She graduated from Port St Joe High School, Class of 1956. She was a Cheerleader, and played Basketball and Softball. On October 24, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Ed Creamer. They were happily married for 68 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and active in the Red Hat Society. She worked briefly at KIDS Inc in Port St. Joe as a preschool teacher. But mostly, she devoted her life to creating a home for husband Ed and son Eddie. And cherished every minute she could spend with grandsons Daniel and John.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Ed Creamer, father James Sealey, Mother Verona Sealey, Brothers Jim and John Sealey and sisters Sally, Selma and Sara.
She is survived by her son Eddie and wife Julie of St. Augustine Fl, grandson Daniel Creamer and wife Tonya of St. Augustine Fl, Grandson John Creamer and wife Rachel of Alexandria Va, great granddaughter Amelia Frances Creamer of Alexandria Va, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held for Dot and Ed on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 1:00 PM Eastern Time, at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St Joe.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
