Obituary of Dorothy DeClerck
Dorothy "Dottie" DeClerck
IRONDEQUOIT – Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob), and her parents Joseph & Bertha Graffley. Survived by daughter, Debbie (Daryl) Hudson; sons, Rob (Ingrid) DeClerck; Mark (Terie & family) DeClerck; Mike (Silvana) DeClerck; grandchildren, Holly Snow; Kelly (Chris) Cumella; Cole DeClerck (Hayley Chase); Kyle (Maggie) DeClerck; Josh DeClerck; Joseph DeClerck; Tanya DeClerck (Nick Eadie); great grandchildren, Hudson and Marlowe Snow, Charlotte and Vincent Cumella, Sloane DeClerck; sister-in-law Mary Ann DeClerck and several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Dorothy retired from Rochester Savings Bank after many years of service. In retirement, Dottie and Bob enjoyed traveling to dozens of destinations in N. America, Europe, and the Caribbean. She was especially fond of cruises and bus excursions. Dottie loved getting her family together for vacations, picnics, birthday celebrations, and holidays. She had a wonderful way of making the holidays extra special for her seven grandchildren, especially Christmas.
Family & friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 3, at 4:00 – 7:00pm at Paul Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy S.). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 4, at 10:00am at St Ann's Chapel (1500 Portland Avenue). Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery immediately following.
