Dorothy R. Dodd

Dorothy Dodd, age 78, of Ray City, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026. She battled cancer and fought the good fight, and now she is walking the streets of Gold.

She was born on September 23, 1947 in Blairsville, PA to the late Morris and Dorothy Robinson. She had a servant's heart and used that to guide her career in food service where she enjoyed serving others. She was an avid Florida State football fan and would always cheer for her Noles no matter what. She enjoyed playing Bingo with family and friends and always had a good time when everyone was together having fun. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren- who were the light of her world.

Survivors include her children- Tina ( David) Schools, William ( Lisa) Eser, and Kimberly Nelson ( Matthew Nick), eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters- Sandra Roberts and Janet Hudson.

In addition to her parents- she was preceded in death by two brothers- Richard Robinson and Raymond Robinson.
